About Us

Durham County Council's GIS Service is delivered by the Corporate GIS Services team, who form part of the County Council's IT Service.

The GIS team provides a comprehensive range of spatial and mapping services that cover all aspects of GIS, including Map Production, Data Capture, GIS Analysis, Spatial Data Management, Mobile and GPS technologies, GIS Advice and Application Development.

We currently deliver services to all of the County Council's service areas, County Durham Schools, public sector partners, and general public. This Website will be further developed over the coming weeks as part of the new Unitary Council's on-going improvement work.
