This system has been developed for County Durham Schools by Durham County Council's Corporate GIS Services team.

Using the System.

This system has been designed to be used with a Microsoft's Internet Explorer web browser, version 5 or above, and a minimum screen resolution of 800 x 600. It should be noted that a higher screen resolution will often improve the visual quality of the maps produced by the system.

To access this system, please choose one of the levels shown on the right. When prompted, please enter your ID and password to access the system. If you do not currently have an ID and password for this system or would like further support and information about resource materials. Please contact Phil Blackburn. If you already have an ID and Password and you are experiencing problems logging onto the Mapping System. Please contact the GIS Team on 0191 383 3492 or 0191 383 3614

GIS Map Production Service:

This system will allow you to print copies of the maps (subject to OS copyright) on your own printer. However, if you require professional quality printed maps, the Corporate GIS Service can provide this service for you. The service can produce maps at a wide range of sizes and scales, ranging from standard A4 maps, to full colour laminated A0 wall maps. For more information, please follow this link
